Irony

I got elected Vice-President for the Junior Public Speaking club. I did not want the role. But I wanted to be different. Hence, I hinted that I actually liked it. My hypocrisy paid off. The ironic thing is, I did want the role. One year ago. But I wasn't elected. Now, after a year, I get the role when I did not want it. Ah, my bad I guess.*

*Members of JPS who are reading this should not take this to mean that I hate my new position. Far from it; I'm already enjoying it.
